The sales of existing homes were lower in July 2010 following expiration of the home buyer tax credit. The good news is that home prices gained. This information from the National Association of Realtors®.
Current home sales dropped 27.2 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 3.83 million units in July.
June had a downwardly revised 5.26 million homes sold in June and are 25.5 percent below the 5.14 million-unit home sales from July 2009.
